Recently, my friend told me about this video on a professor’s last lecture and mentioned that it could be found in youtube.

The video lasts for 1 hour plus! The longest video I watched in youtube!

It is a very inspiring lecture and he also shared about how he obtained his childhood dreams. One of the advices which caught my attention is:

when you are screwing up and nobody says anything to you anymore, it means they gave up.

Some background information:

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

Honestly, do you have such an exciting life like him? Or are you in the process of creating one?

To those who are still having no ideas of what they want in life:

Give some thoughts about your life and ask if you should continue your normal lifestyle or start an exciting and memorable adverture while you still can?

When you are asked to give a last lecture about your life before you die, how exciting will it be?

We are glad to announce that we have a new coordinator to handle the assignments. She is our first coordinator that we employed. Her name is Wee Ling.

Hope she will perform well and stay with us!

Btw..

Google Adwords is definitely effective in getting traffic. I had spent approximately $10 on PPC and a total of $50 credited into Adwords account. I really hope to see better results in the near future! I will be increasing the budget on advertising as the time goes.

Totally new to Google Adwords Pay-per-click campaign, I started using today.

I inserted 28 keywords and started it by paying $30 (incl. $10 signup fee). I believed many people have heard of pay-per-click campaigns that will help to drive more traffic to their websites. I now going to find out if it works!

Excited and afraid at the same time. Excited that they may be an increase in the number of assignments and tutors. Afraid that I will be wasting money on something that does not work.

If you search for tuition in google, you will find my link at the right hand side, under “Sponsored Links”. I did not bid high enough to get the top slot. Well, I just trying out for now. If it works, I may increase my budget and try out in Yahoo! too.

Please support my tuition agency at http://www.itutor.sg!

Your support is greatly appreciated. =)

Camp fee of $45
6 sets of clothes
1 set of smart casual attire
Slippers
Sports shoes and socks
Track pants
Toiletries and towel
1.5 litre bottle
1 pen and a small notepad
1 torchlight

Although it seems like a fun orientation camp, it reminds me of my army field camp. I got an uneasy feeling. I can’t explain why too. Maybe I should just think positive and enjoy this camp.

My group name is Chivas. I really hope my group is fun!

Time to go packing now! Will upload photos of the camp once I got hold of it! =)

(Stay positive!)

Will not be online from 14th to 19th July 2008.
